Procurement Officer (Oil and Gas Industry)
Job Scope:
- OEM Management
- Negotiates new deals with clients
- Negotiate with vendors on contracts, pricings and purchasing terms
- Source metal mechanical machining parts.
- Involve tactical and strategic sourcing.
- Support new sourcing projects.
- Manage First Articles.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders on sourcing activities requirements with most optimized price and lead time.
- Continuously looking for opportunities for cost reduction.
- Facilitate improvements in sourcing activities.
- Contracts management and administration.
- Ensure all procedures are followed.
- Ad-hoc duties.
Job Requirements:
- Min. 6 months experience in oil and gas sector as a business development/procurement officer.
- Able to perform costing analysis.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fast pace environment.
- A strong team player, self-motivated, possess good analytical/ problem solving skills.
- Takes initiative, is hardworking and service-oriented.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to meet demanding requirements and multiple deadlines.
- Strong in Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Preferred with SAP experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦180,000.00 – ₦320,000.00 per month
