ONEPLUS FORTNITE
Fortnite got released in 2017 as an online video game developed by Epic Games. It features three game mode versions which consist of Fortnite Battle Royale,Fortnite: save the world and Fortnite Creative.
In Fortnite Battle Royale 100 players fight to be the last person standing.
In Fortnite: Save the world, four players fight off zombie – like creatures and defend
objects with traps and fortifications they can build.
In Fortnite Creative, players are
given absolute freedom to create worlds and battle arenas.
Fortnite Creative was released on December 6, 2018 while Save the World and
Battle Royale were released in 2017. The three different game mode has recorded
an overwhelming number of success since its released into the market.
Battle Royale and Creative are available on Windows, Xbox One, macOS,
PlayStation, IOS, Nintendo Switch, and Android devices. Save the world is the
only game mode that is not available on all platforms.
HOW DID THE NAME COME ABOUT?
The word is derived from the old English term “feowertiene night”, meaning
“fourteen nights” (or “fourteen days” since the Anglo-Saxon counted by nights).
HOW IS FORTNITE BEING PLAYED?
Here players can use their pickaxe to pull down existing structures on the map to
collect basic resources that are wood, brick and metal.
Players also can use this material to build fortifications such as stairs, walls,
Windows, doors and floors.
In Save the World mode, players are able to create defensive fortifications around
an objective or trap-filled tunnels to lure husks through.
In Battle Royale mode, this provides the means to quickly traverse the map, protect
oneself from enemy fire.
In Creative mode, players are encouraged to be very inventive in designing their
fortification.
ARE THEY THREE MODES FREE-TO-PLAY?
No, Battle Royale and Creative are free-to-play while Save the world is pay-to
play.
IS THE GAME MONETIZED?
The games are monetized through the use of V-Bucks, in-game currency that can
be purchased with real-world funds, but also earned through completing missions
and other achievements in Save the World. V-Bucks in Save the World can be used
to buy loot boxes, in the form of piñatas shaped like llamas, to gain a random
selection of items. In Battle Royale, V-Bucks can be used to buy cosmetic items
like character models or the like, or can also be used to purchase the game’s battle
pass, a tiered progression of customization rewards for gaining experience and
completing certain objectives during the course of a Battle Royale season.
